BisMarket: Your Community Farmers Market

Nestled along Sweet Avenue at Kiwanis Park/Municipal Ballpark, BisMarket is your destination for high-quality, locally produced goods in the heart of Bismarck. Stroll through our vibrant market and discover fresh produce, handcrafted products, children’s activities, live entertainment, and educational sessions offered throughout the season.

Founded in 2013, BisMarket is a non-profit organization governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where community members gather, support local farmers and artisans, promote health and wellness, and celebrate the artistic talent of our region.

 

Mission

BisMarket provides access to a variety of locally grown, high-quality, farm-fresh products—including delicious, locally harvested potatoes—direct from local producers. This family-friendly market enhances community building, fosters local business development, and encourages healthy food choices in a green outdoor space.

Our Commitment to Accessibility BisMarket proudly accepts SNAP benefits and offers the Beet Buck: SNAP Incentive Program, providing a dollar-for-dollar match (up to $15 per market) to be used on fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and food-producing plants and seeds.

​

We are proud to partner with the Great Plains Food Bank and its local delivery agencies. Each Saturday, donations collected at BisMarket are delivered to food pantries, supporting food security efforts within the Bismarck-Mandan community.
